Studio Policy & Procedures

Class Sizes:

Classes will be kept at an appropriate teacher/ student ratio to ensure dancer safety and a positive learning environment. We only allow a max of 3 people on each class wait list since class spots are already at the appropriate balance.

Placement:

The dancers placement is determined at the time of registration. The instructor may ask the dancer to attend one evaluation class to help determine their correct level or the instructor may observe the dancer during the 1st week of classes. Placement is based on the dancers age and technical experience.

Advancements:

All dancers will receive a new placement letter at the end of each year informing them of the classes they have been approved to register for starting in the summer of the upcoming year.

Attendance:

Dancers should attend their registered classes regularly to assist with their personal growth and development. They should arrive on time for each class and be ready to dance.

Make Up Classes:

Dancers that miss classes due to an illness, or family emergencies may make up the missed class in the current term only. Please speak with you instructor to arrange your approved make up class.

Missed classes due to injuries require proper medical documentation. Make up classes will be worked out with the instructors once the dancer has documentation from the doctor that they are cleared to dance.

Class Observations:

No one is allowed in the dance studio other then the teachers and the dancers once the class has started.

Weather Closure Policy:
